Air IT is a Managed Service Provider that delivers IT support, communications, business continuity and cloud solutions alongside specialist divisions in managed cybersecurity and business intelligence. Air IT is focused on meeting the needs and supporting the growth of UK SMEs. As a national provider, Air IT employs more than 500 people and operates across 9 UK offices, delivering a local personal service to over 2,300 clients. With a tenth office in Malaysia and staff located remotely across the world, Air IT specializes in providing 24/7 support to clients who require always on, round-the-clock availability of their IT systems.  

Challenge
To stay ahead of trends, and leverage new, innovative solutions through ConnectWise to maintain a seamless experience for its customers amid expansive growth. 
Solution
By leveraging Partner Program resources, consultative services and technical expertise, Air IT has access to all it requires to work on the business, instead of in the business.
Results
Air IT realized accelerated business growth, including a 30% increase in revenue, 124 net-net clients and 30% increase in lead generation YOY. As a result of their partnership with the ConnectWise Partner Program, Air IT hosted 7 VIP events leading to a 50% increase in SQL conversions, 35% in EDR sales; and perhaps more importantly, received 99% post-event satisfaction rates.

As a partner since 2010, Air IT has utilized ConnectWise solutions and services to help it architect its business and position it for expansive growth. Once dedicated to serving the East Midlands region, Air IT has transformed into a multi-location MSP that spans the better part of the UK. Laura Saxton, Head of Marketing, Air IT says ConnectWise have been an instrumental partner, playing a key role in Air IT’s success and ongoing growth journey:

Speaking of the journey, the results for Air IT have been impressive. Through a combination of private equity investment and organic growth, they have increased headcount from approximately 80 to 500 colleagues, with an impressive 10 office locations in just under 4 years.

With growth, comes increased……well, everything. Marketing budgets to support campaigns.   Events to interact with prospective and existing customers. And opportunity.   The market is changing - reshaping the threat landscape and creating chaos at every turn. Threats and threat actors are more sophisticated. And just as quickly as the landscape has shifted - the need for cybersecurity services has grown with great velocity.   Some would say that opportunity knocks only once.  Faced with a choice to stay with the status quo or to embrace the opportunity, Air IT was all in.

“We added solutions to our security stack to meet the challenge. As an example, we now offer Endpoint Detection and Response services (also known as EDR) to continuously monitor end-user devices and keep our customers safe and secure 24/7 as part of our managed security offering.”   

 Given the market size and increased demand for cybersecurity solutions, Saxton touts the ConnectWise Partner Program for their support to help them with their marketing efforts.

Air IT certainly knows how to put on an event with style. By hosting its events at prestigious venues with Michelin star cuisine, Saxton says it reflects the investment that Air IT makes in delivering an unrivalled experience to its clients.

Beyond the financial support, however, Air IT leverages the expertise and consultative services that the Partner Program provides.

 “Our events are entertaining, but also educational. We were able to bring in a ConnectWise SME solutions expert to give a presentation about the SME cybersecurity landscape, which really had a positive impact.”

 According to Saxton, events are a great mechanism to gain exposure and to interface with prospects. But it takes a holistic approach to make real gains. The Partner Program benefits allow Air IT to separate from the pack by enabling them to be more creative.

The results are there - and they are impressive. In just six months, Air IT has seen a 35% uplift in its EDR services. And, they have realized growth in net-new clients, annual contract value (ACV) and pipeline opportunities.
