Two ConnectWise Executives Named to CRN’s 2018 Women of the Channel List
Kathy Smith and April Taylor honored for their professional accomplishments, dedication to the channel.
TAMPA, Fla. – May 16, 2018 – ConnectWise, a software company that connects technology teams to the solutions, services and resources necessary for success, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Kathy Smith and April Taylor to its prestigious 2018 Women of the Channel list. Both ConnectWise executives were selected by CRN editors as Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.
Smith, senior vice president of services and education at ConnectWise, has more than 35 years in the channel. During her nine years with ConnectWise, she has built a team of more than 100 consultants who provide online educational material, training initiatives, implementations, one-on-one consulting and more. She also has responsibility for a team of more than 200 colleagues who deliver support services to all ConnectWise partners. This team maintains a 95 percent satisfaction rate for its support services.
Taylor, who has 14 years of experience in the channel, serves as vice president of ConnectWise Manage. She ensures partner voices are heard throughout the entire development process, manages the product lifecycle and software development lifecycle of ConnectWise Manage, and leads product management programs, including the Partner Innovation Network (PIN). Her past industry honors include being named a CRN Channel Chief in 2015 and selection to CRN's Women of the Channel list in 2017.
